100 Men of Oshawa

$9,100 Cheque presentation to Boys & Girls Club``

Congratulations Boys & Girls Club Durham!

Isn’t meeting live so much better? For those that couldn’t make the Oct meeting it fun.  Just look at those happy faces at Wendel Clark’s Classic Grill and Bar!

Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Club Durham!

Thank you to Cornerstone Community Association & to Ontario Tech University (Student Bursaries) on all of their hard work throughout our community and for great presentations! We have a brief video of the evening!

Get this…we’ve raised $226,650 for local charities since we started.

It was this group that really started the Durham Region 100 Men movement in south Durham. In fact, if you add up the total amount of money raised to date from Durham 100 Men groups, we’ve cracked the 1 million dollar mark. That means each group, meeting only 4 hours a year  have made an incredible contribution to local charities, not to mention hanging out with some incredible guys.

How 100 Men of Oshawa works

We gather in person/(virtually during COVID) for just one hour every three months. At each meeting, we jointly select a local charity or not-for-profit organization and write a $100 cheque (per person) to the selected organization. No committees, no bank account, no fees.

If you:

  • are committed to helping others in our community, but are stretched for time
  • want to be part of a powerful group of local men making an immediate, direct and positive effect on the lives of our neighbours
  • prefer 100% of your donations to go directly to local charity
  • would like to learn more about the many worthy community service programs and organizations servicing Oshawa

Join us and become “One” of the 100 Men of Oshawa! Want to speak to one of the founders? Feel free!

Next meeting, February 16th, 2023. 6:00 registration, Meeting 6:30 start. Wendel Clark’s Classic Grill & Bar 67 Simcoe St N. Oshawa, Ontario L1G 4S3
